Divya is a design educator and designer with over 15 years of experience in the fashion industry. She has been featured in New York City Jewelry week for two consecutive years - NYCJW 21 and NYCJW 22. She is the course anchor and Co-anchor for several subject areas such as Fashion journalism, Storytelling, Trend spotting, and Fashion styling in the department of Fashion communication. She has co-created the first-of-its-kind course on Fashion Journalism and New media in India.To interact with students and constantly contribute to their creative process is an enriching experience that further fuels her design research. Divya has published several academic research papers in design education, jewellery business and creativity. She founded her brand Sayuri in 2008. Her jewellery designs have been published in Interweave publications like Beadwork, Stringing jewelry and create jewelry across several seasons and in Newspapers such as the Hindu Metroplus, New Indian Express, The Midday and DTNxt.
