NSPP Lead Corn- Corn Breeding (NSPP Lead Nursary and Seed Production and Processing ) Syngenta R & D Hyderabad• As process owner for corn nursery activities in Biological Assessment to be the interface between customers and the BA organization enabling efficient delivery of data and material and aligning demand with available resources.• Develop and drive research and improve efficiency and quality of breeding, nursery protocols• As process owner provide functional leadership to the crop nursery operations • Develop and drive best practice and their adoption in corn. Conduct registration and DUS trials.• Proactively manage stakeholders to ensure that we understand how science in the region is evolving • Ensure correct quality and quantity standards are met and aligned to customer needs (planning, cost drivers, quality management) • Plan, coordinate and ensure the hand-over to other BA function (e.g. cell biology, biotic/abiotic stress management, genotyping, Trialing ) according to customer needs .Plan , Cordinate and ensure the handover the seeds and information to other functions such as PPT, P&S, ALIP

•Ensures that processes needed for the quality management system are established, implemented and maintained in Green House GM operations and at Trials•Ensures compliance with applicable Country Name related regulations, guidelines and biosafety best practices.•Understand current Regulatory Compliance and Stewardship principles and practices.•Understand both internal (Syngenta) and external (e.g. Country Regulation) stewardship and compliance requirements and SQC testing strategies and ensure adherence.•Facilitates the development and implementation of site specific work instructions (SWIs), including regular reviews and updates when necessary.•Facilitates training of local staff on Stewardship and Regulatory Compliance requirements, including standard operating procedures, specific work instructions, and any unique local regulations and/or permit terms and conditions.•Monitors adherence to Stewardship and Regulatory Compliance requirements for the handling (e.g., transport, planting, harvest) of regulated materials.•Contacts appropriate internal Stewardship or Regulatory Compliance Manager when a lack of adherence with Stewardship and/or Regulatory Compliance requirements is identified.•Acts as site contact for internal/external audits and quality reviews.
