I am working in the capacity of Associate Professor in the Department of Biochemistry, Universal College of Medical Sciences (UCMS), Bhairahawa, Nepal. I have completed my MSc Medical Biochemistry from BPKIHS, Dharan, Nepal in 2006 and also obtained 12 European Credit Transfer System (ECTS) from University of Lausanne, Switzerland after training on Immunology, Vaccinology & Biotechnology in 2008. I have been involved in the research related to respiratory diseases, endocrinological disorders, hematological disorders and chronic diseases. I have gained national & international publications in my name on those topics. I am highly interested in hormonal, immunological, cancer research as well as metabolic disorders viz a viz thyroid disease, diabetes mellitus etc. I am the co-supervisor of thesis work for the post graduate and bachalors' students. We have finished the project on the assessment of testosterone, DHEA, vitamin D and growth hormone in osteoporosis. Currently, I have involved in project related to hematological diosoders mutation and its complications. My research also focuses in the assessment of micronutrients like zinc, iodine in metabolic and autoimmune diseases. I have been constantly participated in seminar, conference and talk programs held in national and international forum.
