This project focuses on the digitalization of route cards, which are documents utilized in production plants or manufacturing units to track and guide the movement of products throughout various stages of the production process. These route cards contain vital details such as identification numbers, descriptions, quantities, serial numbers, clearances, inspection data, and quality control data. Currently, in the KPCL plant, the company relies on paper-based route cards where all data is manually entered by workmen using pen and paper.Our project aims to transform these route cards into a digital format. Additionally, we intend to incorporate traceability options, ensuring that the digital data can be accessed by authorized personnel at any time and from any location. To streamline the process further, we propose including a QR scanning option in the digital format, which would significantly reduce the time required for manual data entry.By implementing these digital enhancements, we aim to improve efficiency, accuracy, and accessibility in managing route cards within the KPCL plant. This transition from paper-based to digital route cards will optimize operations and facilitate real-time tracking, ultimately enhancing productivity and overall performance.
