Greetings everyone! My name is Narayan Srivastava and I’m a graduate from City Montessori School Aliganj Campus 1 which is affiliated to Council of Indian School Certificate Examination, New Delhi where I secured All India Rank 4 with a 99% in the ISC Board Examination 2023. I was recently announced as the first Lester B. Pearson International Scholar from the state of Uttar Pradesh by the University of Toronto where I will be attending the Scarborough Campus to study Political Science, Public Policy and Psychology. In school, I studied Political Science, History, Sociology and English as a part of my core subjects and Psychology and Physical Education as my optional subjects.I have been serving as the Head Boy-College Captain of City Montessori School Aliganj 1 since August of 2021 where I was shortlisted from a class of 360 students. Under this office, I look after the welfare of over 7,000 students of my campus and have organised numerous events. As the 1st Head of Operations at Antiquity- The History Club, I organised ’The Relic International’ - a cultural fiesta celebrating history which hosted over 160 participants from over 22 countries namely United States of America and Russia. In 2019, I founded ‘The Bhoomi Initiative’ which is a youth led and student run environmental and social initiative which has successfully made its way into the leading student movements in the state of Uttar Pradesh and has successfully planted over 6,000 trees and impacted over 100 lives in over four years of its working. In 2021, I was awarded as the ‘Branch Topper’ for securing the highest score in a class of over 360 students by City Montessori School - Aliganj 1 and was also nominated to be a presenter at the TED-Ed Student Talks program where I gave a presentation on psychology and manifestation. The same year, I led a team of four students at IMS State Level Moot Court Competition where my team secured the 1st Runner Up Position and I was individually awarded the ‘Best Oralist’ title. The following year, I have dedicated much of time in pursuing a ground level work experience in public policy and government by interning under the Special Secretary of Public Works Department of Government of India. I aspire to pursue a career in international relations and public relations and I look forward to new ventures that will enhance my professional capacity.
