Coordinated the transportation logistics of the visit of Prime Minister Shinzo Abe’s delegation of more than 200 people with representatives of the Brazilian government and private sector, as well as a meeting between Brazil’s Minister of Agriculture and representatives of the Japanese government and private sector. Daily assignments included collection and distribution of information (including detailed explanation of Brazil’s economic and political situations), translation of documents and interpretation in official meetings in several areas of expertise.

During the early stages of the program, teamed-up with Japanese advisors to create a theme-based discussion course, comprised of 7 sessions, to be carried out during the program. During the preparation stages of the program, worked as a minute-taker for conferences between participating countries’ government representatives and the Japanese government, as well as preparatory meetings between Japanese Government officers and participating youth leaders. During the actual Program, worked as interpreter for overseas/Japanese participants and liaison between the participating youth, advisors and the administration staff, making sure that the Japanese and overseas participants could engage in fruitful discussions that would motivate them to be more involved in social activities in their communities, as well as broaden their understanding of modern globalized society. During the port of call activities in New Zealand, Tonga, India, United Arab Emirates, Fiji, Sri Lanka and Australia was responsible for organizing participants’ transportation within the cities, coordinate schedule with the local staff members and guarantee safe and smooth operation of the program.

Consultant for the Trilateral Cooperation Division of JICA’s office in Brasilia, Brazil. Main assignments were to organize and execute the commemorative event for the 10-year anniversary of the Japan-Brazil Partnership Program and 25th Anniversary of the Third-Country Training Program, both of which are organized in partnership with the Brazilian Cooperation Agency of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. For this event, was in charge of coordinating the list of participants and prepare material to be distributed at the event. Created and designed a 32-page booklet with highlights of the two programs, as well as with detailed information about projects executed within the scope of the Brazil – Japan cooperation. Prior to the event, wrote several articles and press releases to be dispatched to the local media. Other assignments included data research and database updating, executing the final evaluation of a 5-year trilateral cooperation project involving physicians from African Portuguese speaking countries who received training in a Brazilian university. Also, provided language support and simultaneous interpretation of meetings and conferences in English, Portuguese and Japanese for trainees from Cambodia and Madagascar. Also, provided general support to the execution of daily activities from all divisions of the Brazilian Office.
