Responsible for setting up and managing R&D teams across multiple locations (India and US) to deliver quality software products for the customers of UL EHS, Learning, and Sustainability Software & Services. Further I managed India based staff augmentation vendor partners for two divisions of UL. I was responsible for managing complete technology stack for my assigned product portfolio. I helped US based business units of UL for Software product development, Quality Assurance, Test Automation, ETL, BI and DevOps for their products in Healthcare, Education, Employee Safety, ELearning, Medical EMR System for medicine clinics and hospitals etc.

Shared responsibility of leading Offshore Software Engineering Services Department for all the S/W products offered by UL PureSafety and manage vendor(s) for related outsourcing needs. With help of a dynamic team of direct reports spread across four locations in US and India, took care of QA department and shared team for roles like DBA and Reports development.Lead the team of software engineers to develop eLearning platform for online health and safety training for employees of large enterprises.Helped in post acquisition business integration of a Healthcare product and build technology team to support legacy product.Responsible for vendor management for QA and IT processes including selection, relationship and operational activities.Initiated managed test automation practice for functional testing and performance testing.

Helped different Kaplan business units by establishing right teams, and lasting processes required for elearning software products. At Kaplan, I was recognised by award of 'Delivery Master' by COO.Joined Kaplan India as QA Manager for Delhi team and later was promoted to head R&D team for Kaplan Delhi. I owned R&D ownership for a prestigious product with several Fortune 100 customers, completely developed and maintained by my technology team of 50+ software professionals Besides our product, I was responsible for supporting various products owned by other Kaplan business units for outsourcing their LMS platform development, custom software development and staff augmentation in India including Business Analysts, Architects, Developers (Java, .Net, ColdFusion), DBAs, QA, UI and product support engineers.

Worked on a leading health and fitness product. Responsibility includes QA Team management, Release monitoring, and Delivery ownership. During my stay, mostly focus of product team was around software modernisation, performance improvements and integration with external systems like payment gateways, CRM etc. Also I was responsible for prioritising and assigning work to team of developers and QA working on sustaining version of same product.

Worked for the company's products in the publishing domain. Later I was moved into a senior developers role for product development outsourced by clients including Adobe and Indian Railway.Here I started my career as a Developer (mainly C & Delphi) but then played a vital role in setting up the QA team and implementing ISO processes. I was further responsible for implementation of Software Configuration Management (process and tool) for the entire company.
