I was working as Construction Manager (Site head ) and responsible for site construction work of Steam Turbines Generators of 64 MW ( 2 nos), 34 MW ( 1 No), 22 MW ( 1 no) and associated piping and high pressure and high temperature PRDS piping at Jamnagar (Gujarat) for Reliance Industries Ltd.

I was working as Assistant General Manager Mechanical (Head of Deptt.) and responsible for erection, commissioning and start up of UREA plant, AMMONIA plant, UPH plant and Mechanical work shop..Matix Fertilizers and Chemicals Limited, Flagship Company of Matix group, is having its Nitrogenous Fertilizer complex. In Phase I, the company is investing Rs. 5000 crores (approximately US$ 1.1 billion) to set up a 1.3 MTPA single stream 2,200 metric tonnes per day (MTPD) Ammonia plant and 3,850 MTPD Urea plant along with associated offsite and utilities. The plant will use energy efficient and latest technology from industry leaders Kellogg, Brown & Root (KBR), USA and Saipem, Italy.

I was working as a Rotating Equipments Specialist in engineering & project department in LNG plant of Marathon oil and responsible for followings: Initially I was responsible for installation, commissioning and start up of Rotating equipments. After commissioning of plant I was responsible for followings: On-line health monitoring of all Gas Turbines & Compressors for Propane, Ethylene and Methane Gases & Re-Gen Compressors, BOG Compressors & Cryogenic pumps to diagnosis for predictive maintenance. Off- Line monitoring of balance Rotating Equipments like- Air Compressors, Amine Pumps & Sea water pumps etc. Long term planning for shut downs, spare parts & technical up-grading of all critical machines like- Gas Turbines, Steam Turbines and Compressors with technical upgrading as per recommendations of OEM, NIC’s (GE). To lead for all Major shutdowns of Gas Turbines & Compressors for quality inspections during shut downs & implementation of technical up-grading. To perform lead role for resolving in chronic problems and Root cause failure analysis. To provide/ review of technical /engineering specifications and site/ factory inspection of Rotating equipments as & when required by Project department. MAJOR EQUIPMENTS HANDLED: GE-Make: Gas Turbines –Models: MS5002D (6 nos.) & MS5001PA (2 nos.) Nuovo Pignone Make: Heavy Duty Multistage Centrifugal Compressors- Models: 2MCL, 3MCL & 2BCL for Propane, Ethylene & Methane gases. Various Pumps- Make- Sulzer, Ebara, Goulds, Flow serve & KSB for LNG, Propane, Sea Water & Amine services and Fin Fans in large quantity.ACHIEVMENTS:I got Appreciation for leading role for major modification/ up-grading of GE Gas Turbines (MS5002D) by Marathon Oil (USA).

I was working as a Rotating Equipments Specialist in engineering & project department & based at Yanbu. I was responsible for new projects & providing technical supports to Projects group for Rotating Equipments. I was responsible for followings: Technical review/ evaluation of proposals for specification, selection and design for new Equipment, modification or retrofits to rotating equipments and auxiliary systems. Inspections and initial acceptance for new various projects and liaising with machinery vendors. Preparing detailed bid documents/ scope of work for various CAPEX, OPEX projects and major overhauling/ modification and annual turn around Supervision, inspection and field testing of major activities during shutdown and major overhauls of major rotating equipments like-Steam Turbines, Gas Turbines and Sea Water pumps. Troubleshooting and investigation (RCFA) of rotating equipments failures. Health/condition monitoring and diagnostic analysis for corrective actions.MAJOR EQUIPMENTS HANDLED: GE-Make: Gas Turbines –Models: MS7001 (9 nos.). MHI-Steam Turbines (130MW-4 nos.) . Boilers & HRSG  Various Pumps- Make- ITT & Flow serve (Sea water -60000M3/Hr – 9 pumps) -, Sulzer, Ebara, Goulds, Flow serve & KSB for various service.ACHIEVMENTS:Resolved chronic & long standing problem of Boiler feed water pumps and Induced Draft Fans.

I was working as an Assistant Manager in UREA PLANT. Initially, I had an opportunity to work since project stage as section head for UREA plant and responsible for project execution.After successful start up I was responsible for planning, scheduling of annual shutdown and routine maintenance. Major equipments like- CO2 Compressors, Ammonia feed pumps, Carbonate feed pumps, Steam Turbines and various high pressure static equipments like- Urea Reactor, Urea Stripper and various heat exchangers etc.I was responsible for availability and reliability of plant. My main responsibilities were inclusive of day to day maintenance, planning and execution of annual shut downs and maintain spare parts and failures investigation/ reporting. MAJOR EQUIPMENTS HANDLED: GE-Make: Gas Turbines –Models: MS5001 (2 nos.). BHEL & MHI-Steam Turbines of 22 MW, 12 Mw &various medium duty Steam Turbines.. Boilers -80MT/Hr at MCR, 5200C temp & 110kg/cm2 pressure & HRSG- 70TPH at MCR, 3900C temp. & 40kg/cm2 pressure. NP & MHI compressors for CO2 & Syn. Gas Various Pumps- Make- Sundyne, Sulzer, Ebara, Goulds, Flow serve & KSB for LNG, Propane, Sea Water & Amine services and Fin Fans in large quantity.ACHIEVMENTS: My article published in Fertilizer news for modification in Urea Stripper. Execution and commissioning of 1.6 MW DG set in record period with base frame modification.

Here also I had opportunity to work since execution stage and I was involved in installation, inspection and commissioning of compressors and steam turbines in Compressor house in Ammonia Plant.After that I was in maintenance department. & had an opportunity to have hands on experience for maintenance activities like-trouble shooting and overhauling of rotating equipments. Major equipments handled like- multistage high pressure compressors, steam turbines and high pressure pumps(16000rpm -Sundyne make) etc.MAJOR EQUIPMENTS HANDLED: Hitachi-Make: Gas Turbines –Models: MS5001 (2 nos.). BHEL & MHI-Steam Turbines of 22 MW, 12 Mw &various medium duty Steam Turbines. NP & MHI compressors for CO2 & Syn.
