Stitch Fix has a very large team of Data Scientists and the Data Platform teams support and enable them to independently build, test and release models to prod.I managed and directed MLOps platform teams focussed on ML model delivery in production. My teams were also responsible for other core ML services including feature store, model discovery, and service mesh.

FloydHub is a cloud platform for building and deploying Deep Learning models in the cloud. Raised $4 Million in funding from YCombinator and other VCs. FloydHub has supported more than 100k users and 1000 businesses.I helped design and build the first version of the product for public launch. As the company grew, I was responsible for the engineering team, building the cloud infrastructure, and working closely with our customers to deploy our solution. I set the long term technical direction for the company by selecting technologies, tools and solutions (open source, SAAS) and making purchasing / adoption decisions.During this time I also learned a lot about product design, product management, Customer Service (CX), and Content Marketing. FloydHub predated the cloud solutions now offered by the cloud providers (like SageMaker, Google Collab). After many iterations of the product, we could not find product-market fit and build a sustainable business. So we shutdown FloydHub in 2021. It was an amazing experience to work with a wonderful team and tackle tough startup problems.

I managed two product engineering teams providing technical direction at the team level and performance management at the individual level. I coordinated product road map with PMs and other stakeholders and was on point for delivery. I also collaborated with external partners including cell phone carriers like AT&T, Sprint and Verizon.In my role I have been evaluating tools and technologies, guiding technical leads and unblocking teams. Location Labs develops white-label location sharing infrastructure for top-tier mobile carriers in the US. Location Labs was acquired by AVG and then by Avast. As a backend engineer, I designed, implemented and maintained a highly scalable platform that supported 30 million mobile phones.
