Walter Barnes is interested in raising money for The Rotary Foundation End Polio Now campaign. To date he has help 52 Rotary clubs in 2 Districts, 5000 and 5320, become 100% Paul Harris Fellow clubs and raise more 3 million dollars for The Rotary Foundation. He average over $160.00 per District member over the ten year fund raising effort with $218.00 in 2002.Mr. Barnes is 33 year Rotarian, Rotary Club of Fullerton, District 5320. Formally associated with the Rotary Clubs of Kapaa and Kauai of District 5000. He is a multiple Paul Harris Fellow, a Paul Harris Society Member, a Benefactor, Major Donor and Bequest Society Member. In 2003, he was the recipient of The Rotary Foundation’s Citation for Meritorious Service, presented by Rotary International President, Rick King in 2003. Annually, fewer than 150 Rotarians worldwide receive this recognition.
