I am currently serving as a regulatory authority with focused on safe guarding environment, prevention of industrial pollution, environmental protection. It is a challenging task particularly devolving countries where you need to balance economy and ecology, that challenges lead to sustainable development. Preforming my duties come through many challenges like industrial revolution impact on environment and society, urbanization impact on current infrastructure available for environment protection, low-income industry compromising set standards etc. that challenges bring innovative solution for sustainable developments. It is worth that I can contribute to sustainable development through my problem-solving skill. My 15 + years of experience in the field of environment protection as an industrial employee, as a consultant and as a state government authority, helps me to find a solution for challenges we face for sustainable development. It is many times surprising that whenever we resolve any specific problem focusing environment safe guarding its also helps economy point of view to the industries. In true sense sustainable development. I’m fortunate to get an opportunity to come across 1000 + industry with all sectors like Steel industry, Cement Industry, Tyre industry, Thermal Powerplant, Chemical and pharma Sector, Ports, Pulp and paper, mining, and MSME sector. I like to share my experience of conducting 100 + public consultation (Public involvement) in environmental clearances considering environment impact assessment for upcoming development including green and brown field projects. Conducting Public awareness program, seminars, training is also a great experience. I also come through Indian judiciary procedure as part of my responsibility in different court like Hon’ble National green tribunal, Hon’ble, Hon’ble High Court, Session Court (JMFC) etc.
