Put in over 32 years of dedicated service in different capacities, including HOD, Veterinary Pathology and In-charge, Centralized Clinical Diagnostic Lab currently. Guided 12 M.V.Sc and 3 Ph.D. students as Major Advisor and over 300 students as Co-guide from various departments. Taught over 170 UG and PG courses in the discipline of Veterinary Pathology and was awarded Incentive Increment for Outstanding Teaching in 1993. Attended 53 National and International Conferences/Symposia and has 70 invited lectures to my credit. Instrumental in organisation of 3 International Conferences/Training Programs and two ICAR sponsored Winter Schools . Specialisation in Clinical Pathology, Diagnostic Cytology, Veterinary and Comparative Oncology and Histopathology and responsible for development of four ‘State of the Art’ Laboratories. Recipient of over 55 National and International Awards/Honours including Fellowship of Royal Veterinary College, Sweden, Fellowship of Indian Association of Veterinary Pathology and Diplomate and Founding Father of Indian College of Veterinary Pathologists andICAR BBEST TEACHER AWARD-2107. Member of 12 National Professional Societies and is currently Vice-President of Indian Association of Veterinary Pathologists. Published 226 research papers, including 49 in foreign journals with 535 citations, besides 49 technical papers, 5 chapters in books and 3 review articles. Principal/co-principal investigator of 11 extramural and mural projects. On the panel of several National and International Committees, including VCI inspection team, Examiner-ship and Selections and a Reviewer/Editor of several International Journals. On several Scientific Networking Sites and has a standing above 97.5% among over 14 million Research Gate Members. Involved in co-curricular activities and has befittingly organised four Youth Festivals as President, University Dance Drama and Music Club.
