Naresh had responsibility for providing leadership and strategy to build the Transportation & Logistics Industry Vertical for Global Business Services. The Practice provided advanced business solutions to the logistics service provider industry including Express package providers, container shipping lines, trucking, rail, freight forwarders, 3PLs, Lead.

Naresh had responsibility for establishing Americas Systems (a subsidiary of Maersk Data and A. P. Moller Maersk) as a leader in delivering supply chain software products to Retailers and Manufacturers. The company was successfully acquired by IBM and the product portfolio developed by Naresh, called Transportation Resource Planning, became an integral.

Naresh was responsible for creating and driving the strategy and execution roadmap for supply chain solutions including a multi-modal TMS solution. He was also responsible for integrating the product suite from NeoModal LLC with Descartes E-Transport solution portfolio.

Naresh was responsible for Product Strategy and Product Management. He developed the optimization algorithms for vendor selection that led to a provisional patent and was considered as the most valuable product during its acquisition by Descartes Systems.

Naresh had responsibility for strategic application of Yield Management Technology to deliver improved profitability for the corporation in excess of $100M annually. Sea-Land, a $4B subsidiary of CSX, was acquired by A.P. Moller-Maersk Group and the framework was adopted by Maersk.
