Duties• Working with corporate resource /payroll provider (Pay specialist) to setup or remove new hire or terminated employees while ensuring all employee data and payroll information is accurate and up to date in payroll system.• Prepare and process bi-weekly multi states payroll for all hourly, salaried and daily Basis employees using (Pay Specialist) ADP payroll system.• Complete processing, balance, audit and reconcile pay period payrolls and the subsequent activities including electronic banking, finance posting, and third party remittances.• Develop and maintain appropriate business controls and payroll procedures documentation to ensure effective operation.• Prepare and submit all payroll related government and non-government remittance.• Process sick/bank time. Holiday/vacation time and conduct deductions such as garnishment etc. for all salaried and hourly unionized employees.• Prepare, process and report all payroll year-end requirements related to T-4's, T-4A's and Releves.• Manage the technical requirements of our in-house SAP payroll system by Formulating, analyzing, testing and providing payroll system modifications.• Researching discrepancies of payroll information and/or documentation (e.g. time sheets, Expense reports. leave time, etc.) for the purpose of ensuring accuracy.• Prepare various standard and ad-hoc payroll reports• Respond to all internal and external payroll related management and employee inquiries.

• Analyze members need and provide them credit union product according to their needs, responds to member inquiries in person or on the phone.• Handle a wide range of cash and non-cash banking transactions, such as cashing checks, accepting deposits and loan payments, and processing withdrawals. • Accept payment for customers' utility bills, receive deposits for special accounts such as TFSA,RRSP ,• Keep records and perform the necessary paperwork for customer loans,• Process member requests for account updates, balances, cheque orders, open new account and account closures.• Sell travelers' checks and handling foreign currencies or commercial or business accounts.• Resolve routine problem with members accounts referred by members and other branch staff.Clearing Clerk• Perform all daily clearing function on time and make sure all the online reports gets within time frame.• Return online items as per landing and all other staff instruction.• Process all required general Ledger entries accurate and within time frame.• Answers all the enquiry related with clearing cheques and automatic deposits and withdraws.• Contacts the members, other credit union, credit union central.
