LTP Sports Group Inc. (LTP) is a middle-market company that is a designer, marketer and distributor of proprietary and branded bicycles, parts and accessories. It operates two distinct businesses from three countries that work in concert to form one of Canada's leading cycling business platforms while serving over 25 countries globally and a network of over 1,000 customers.During a period of disruption and unpredictability, in collaboration with the CEO, I restructured strategy to ensure LTP's sustainability, growth, and future success in the US market. I also elevated financial management to spearhead the company's next expansion phase, introducing a comprehensive 26-page monthly reporting package. In collaboration with external stakeholders, I conducted a critical financial review and managed due diligence for nine months before returning to the legacy ownership structure.When the COVID pandemic struck, it significantly boosted sales and disrupted supply chains. The business transitioned from a predictable state to having 2.5 times more outstanding orders than usual, while lead times for production inputs soared from 9 to 18 months. In response, I selectively recruited staff to manage the surge in volume, utilized sales analytics to regulate inventory levels, and analyzed market dynamics to maintain our position as a leader in the industry. Additionally, I procured $25 million in capital from financial institutions to support material EBITDA expansion.I adeptly navigated between macro-level strategy and micro-level implementations and improvements. Through focused, unambiguous communication of financial complexity presented in a user-friendly, non-technical manner for functional understanding across all stakeholder audiences, I effectively influenced and impacted significantly positive outcomes.

An international digital e-commerce company providing next-generation platform software to the digital commerce segment of the software industry, including B2C & B2B e-commerce leaders SAS, TeliaSonera, Intuit, and Time Inc.As the Vice President of Finance and Administration, I oversaw all aspects of finance, operations, and strategy. Working in close collaboration with the leadership team, I served as a trusted business partner, ensuring that the company's objectives were being met. In my capacity as a direct report to the president, I managed a team of five professionals.One of my most significant achievements was securing external financing to facilitate the company's business model transformation. By leveraging mezzanine debt and private equity, I successfully raised $12 million, with $8 million in debt and $4 million in equity. Moreover, I restructured the organization, enhancing tax efficiency and implementing effective cash flow management techniques.To strengthen our cash position, I negotiated favourable credit facilities that increased our borrowing capacity while reducing borrowing costs.
