• Conducted three research projects on the separation and sorting of biological cells using Dielectrophoresis for the environmental, biological and medical applications with the collaboration with Institute of material.
• Simulated the electrokinetic phenomenon (Dielectrophoresis) and Fluid dynamics in the microfluidic channel using COMSOL Multiphysics to design a suitable microchannel
• Designed the microfluidic chip in AutoCAD and performed the microfabrication (photolithography based method with positive and negative photoresists as well as wet etching) for developing the required microfluidic chips.
• Cultured bacterial and mammalian cells for the experiments
• Conducted the optical and fluorescent microscopy to observe biological cells’ behavior
• Modelled Dielectrophoresis and executed the parameter estimation using MATLAB to characterize the biological cell
