My research goals focus on using systems biology tools to dissect pathways responsible for the diverse prostate cancer phenotypes that was previously not possible using conventional methods. As a member of the EDRN and CPTAC consortium (NIH), our group is pushing the boundaries to discover novel surrogate biomarkers and therapeutic targets for metastatic castration resistant prostate cancer. We have developed several novel proteomics based technologies including the high-throughput quantitative SRMs and MRMs methods to specifically measure and quantify proteins within the biopsies samples along with their posttranslational modifications. My extensive training in field of proteomics, glycoprotemoics and translational medicine has enabled me to embark on the road of discoveries for metastatic prostate cancers.
