As Vice President and Distinguished Fellow of Intelligence, I served as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Intelligence across the entire ZeroFox enterprise. This role included, but was not limited to:- Fulfilling the responsibilities of ZeroFox's evangelist for Intelligence, including authoring magazine articles and blogs, public speaking and participating in panel discussions, engaging with traditional and social media, and hosting or participating in webinars and podcasts.- Improving our Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy and sales approach for Intelligence to empower current or prospective customers with the means to build Intelligence-driven security practices that maximize the value of their spending.- Advising the CTO and VP of Product by representing current customers and wider market Intelligence so our product roadmap is responsive to those needs and even works to get ahead of them.- Serving as a trusted advisor to the C-Suite on issues of Intelligence and Risk, where appropriate.

Led the unification of multiple talented - but disjointed - teams of Intelligence experts to create ZeroFox Intelligence. Drove mission, vision, strategy, organizational change, and the maturation of analytic standards, tradecraft, and delivery of Intelligence to address our customers' tactical, operational, and strategic needs. Led a large, diverse, global team - including dozens of analysts, researchers, collectors, technical experts, and covert collection assets - while being responsible for operations, budgets, and metrics for team capacity, efficiency, and P&L.Contributed to product roadmaps, advised on Go-To-Market (GTM) and sales strategies, consulted with prospects and existing customers to increase the realized value of Intelligence spending, and represented ZeroFox Intelligence in the media, social media, and live (virtual and in-person) presentations for conferences and partners.

Created the strategy and project plan for a world-class cyber intelligence team, including collection capabilities, analytic tradecraft and standards, a line of intelligence products, repeatable processes for all aspects of the intelligence lifecycle, recruiting and training talent, and management of a multi-million dollar budget. Ultimately responsible for delivering relevant, timely, and accurate intelligence vital to tactical, operational, and strategic decision-makers, including (but not limited to) physical security, offensive and defensive cyber operations, governance, risk and compliance, and executive leadership.

Created and delivered training for corporate personnel and worldwide clients that focused on the foundations of intelligence and the intelligence life cycle, analytic standards and tradecraft, intelligence requirements, and integrating cyber threat intelligence to improve organizational threat posture and reduce risk. Designed and executed the strategy for on-boarding clients, as well as a repeatable process for managing requests for information (RFI), resulting in the delivery of quality intelligence products. Additionally, responsible for documenting effectiveness of those products to ensure our team continued to meet or exceed client expectations. Ultimately responsible for client satisfaction, retention, and revenue growth.

Created repeatable processes for; developing and managing intelligence requirements (IR), processing and responding to requests for information (RFI), and production and distribution of intelligence products. Designed organization’s intelligence product catalog, including multi-tiered product line to address varying requirements. Created standardized templates for written products and a serialization and storage system vital to data collection and management. Additionally, authored the first cyber threat intelligence (CTI) analytic standards (based on ICD 203, ICD 206, and ICD 208) and first CTI training plan. Produced dozens of original CTI intelligence products – both in response to RFIs and proactively – in support of company lines of business. Served as senior analyst responsible for final edits, distribution, and storage of serialized products. Finally, advanced the Capital One CTI brand through engagement with multiple domestic and international intelligence sharing organization and outside publications focused on cyber security.

While serving as a senior intelligence analyst and reporter, produced highly classified, serialized intelligence reports related to a specific, high-interest target nation. Duties included writing, editing, and coordination within the customer agency and throughout the Intelligence Community (IC). Additionally, while serving in a corporate capacity, consulted on business development opportunities and contribute to business proposals vital to company growth.

Senior All-Source Intelligence Analyst, United States Cyber Command (USCC) Conducts short and mid-term all-source analysis resulting in production of serialized bulletins and briefings, including first-ever Joint Intelligence Preparation of the Operational Environment (JIPOE) analysis. Develops and delivers current intelligence briefings presented to leadership, up to and including the Commander, USCC. Additionally, as Indications and Warning (I&W) Analyst, developed and delivered 100+ I&W presentations to senior decision-makers. Finally, selected to edit intelligence products produced by colleagues; ensuring timely and accurate intelligence is delivered to the Intelligence Community in accordance with analytic standards and practices.Senior ConsultantParticipated in working groups, business development meetings, and proposal writing. Selected to lead company efforts in support of a successful bid on a $7B IDIQ and immediately conducted research and provided a proposal for doubling our companies work share potential. While working in a sub-contractor capacity, identified as superior writer and tasked with leading specific segment of overall proposal effort. Coordinated with team leads from several companies to ensure delivery of well-supported, well-crafted, winning proposal. Additionally, as company representative to another proposal team working a separate segment of the same IDIQ, was personally lauded for writing efforts that contributed to that separate winning proposal.Senior Multi-Source Analyst/ Contributing EditorWrote, edited, or contributed to over 200 intelligence reports for weekly classified publication distributed to executive-level readers throughout the Intelligence Community, up to and including the White House. Conducted meetings, managed production calendar, and coordinated intelligence with multiple target offices to ensure timely, accurate reporting while working in fast-paced environment.

Performed technical planning, systems integration and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Acted independently to uncover and resolve issues associated with the development and implementation of operational programs. Exhibited an exceptional degree of ingenuity, creativity, and resourcefulness. Applied and/or developed highly advanced technical technologies, scientific principles, theories and concepts.

Conducted research, analyzed intelligence, and produced multi-media intelligence products focused on worldwide intelligence threats and trends in adversary actions. Based on those trends, contributed to predictive analysis reports vital to national security. Labeled as Subject Matter Expert for Cyber Intelligence Preparation of the Environment (CIPE). While serving as an instructor, trained dozens of incoming intelligence analysts on CIPE. Repeatedly served as group leader on smaller project, mentoring junior personnel with a range of skills and backgrounds. Finally, while serving in a corporate capacity, contributed to capture, writing and technical editing for a winning 10-year, ~$7B contract award.

Performed analysis and reporting of current intelligence related to the worldwide improvised explosive device (IED) fight. Analyzed multiple intelligence sources to create dozens of fused intelligence products vital to tactical, regional, and national decision-makers. Produced and performed several hundred briefings on current intelligence, emerging trends, and comparative analysis of highly sensitive data. As Watch Officer, led 18 personnel in 24/7 intelligence watch cell. Additionally, as contract lead, supervised seven intelligence analysts working multiple intelligence disciplines.

This is just a sample of my service: While assigned to a joint service office within the National Security Agency/Central Security Service (NSA/CSS), analyzed and reported on tactical and strategic intelligence related to a highly sensitive region. Directly responsible for creation, distribution, and quality control of serialized reporting vital to national decision makers and international counterparts. In a separate but concurrent function, performed analysis on targets collected and exploited by operators of the Distributed Common Ground System (DCGS) SENTINEL weapon system. Served as focal point for target analysis issues during airborne ISR operations. Specialized in support to real-time counter-terrorism and counter-insurgency operations, ensuring accuracy of 8,000+ reports. While assigned to a joint service office within NSA/CSS, led a team of 8 personnel that processed 116,000+ intelligence records and issued 1,000+ near real-time intelligence reports.Performed intelligence analysis in direct support of Numbered Air Forces (NAFs) as a member of Air Force National Tactical Integration Central Cell (NCC). Produced 500+ daily intelligence reports vital to theater and national decision makers during combat operations. As an intelligence briefer, produced and presented 215 daily intelligence briefings to leaders at the Squadron, Group, Wing and levels. Consistently praised for both content and delivery of briefings.While deployed in support of combat operations, led a team of 18 personnel as part of Force Protection Cell. Trained in basic counter-espionage and counter-terror tactics. Team was responsible for personnel and physical security of multiple job-sites during multi-million dollar construction projects. Completed mission without a single security violation while personally responsible for the apprehension, detention, and confinement of one hostile third-country national.
