I lead the technology team for the Amsterdam branch of the world's most awarded digital agency. During 2015, I established a valuable Acquia partnership for AKQA, facilitated significant (over double) growth of the tech work-portfolio and team size, and have commenced a major eCommerce solution for one of the world's best known luxury brands. As part of my work at AKQA AMS, I've had deep exposure to eCommerce technologies and architectural approaches, including Magento and Hybris commerce engines, Sitecore, Adobe and Acquia CMS solutions, Akeneo PIM, Adobe Scene 7, as well as SDL Fredhopper and Acquia Lift search, personalisation and segmentation tools.

As Technical Account Director, I managed the technical delivery for all projects within the Nokia account – one of the largest at AKQA. Performed as acting CTO for the Ovi Maps Web programme at Nokia Berlin. In my role as a technical manager for Nokia, I had responsibility for the technical delivery of a number of large projects. The work encompassed all aspects of the Scrum process, from helping the client define a product backlog, to sprint planning (poker planning) sessions, retrospectives and organizing the sprint demos to the product owners. For 6 months in 2008, I lead a cross agency team on-site at Nokia Gate 5 Berlin, helping to deliver Nokia’s entry into the world of online mapping solutions.
