I started off my journey by working in field and gaining hands-on experience of construction project site execution and management. With a desire to bring change, I have been leading Ziauddin Ahmed & Co. (Private) Limited, a professional construction services providing firm since 1988.With commitment to transforming the industry outlook, I have remained involved in diversified activities across the Construction Sector for its betterment in Pakistan. I am an advocate of bringing change and have been working with Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC), Constructors Association of Pakistan (CAP), advising on policy matters related to the industry, formulation of import policies, establishment of Pakistan Green Building Council Codes, finalization of PEC Standard Bidding Documents which are mandatorily used in all Public Procurement Contracts all over Pakistan. I am a member of PEC’s Tripartite Technical Committee of Expert’s working for the development of Occupational Safety and Health Code of Practice for Construction Sector of Pakistan.On international front, I am also associated with Pakistan-Qatar Business Council of Federation of Pakistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) as a Director, and a member of Housing & Real Estate Sub-Committee of Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI), Saudi Pakistani Professionals Community (SPPC), Federation of Contractors in Islamic Countries (FOCIC).Apart from professional responsibilities, I hold educational initiatives close to my heart as these are important to creating a positive impact for our future generations and our country. I am an active member of Industry Advisory Board (IAB) established at NEDUET, one of the leading and oldest Engineering Institutes in Pakistan.
