Based on my previous experiences as project coordinator and project manager with UN agencies and good familiarity with the process of external evaluation of the UN programs, I got a great opportunity to have a cooperation with UNIDO in the role of project evaluator. In accordance with the UNIDO's evaluation policies and evaluation mannual, my role as terminal evaluator was to assess the perfomance of the completed project by the means of five main criteria, relevance, effectiveness, efficiency, sustainability to benefits and progress to impacts as well as examining the design of the project. Other prominent objective of the evaluation was to elaborate lessons learned and recommendations to the proejct stakeholders mainly UNIDO, for the design of new and duly implementation of on-going projects.
