Women and e-Commerce (WE) is a Trust formed in October 2017 and had been working tirelesslyfor women entrepreneurs. WE is working for female entrepreneurs through it’s Facebook group,page & website and have 1.3 million members in it’s Facebook group, where 90% are female andwork with local products. It’s aim is to help to grow, support end to end in every step of theirentrepreneurial life and thrive them globally which has a big contribution in our nationaleconomy.I am working for local manufacturer by using WE platform to develop rural economy which ismainly connected to Cottage,Micro entrepreneurs of our local product. My one of the biggest dream isthat, our local products will reach every corners of the world by using WE platform. From the dateof inception WE and its member stood up first time with strength and support and dare toorganize such event “Food Buyer Seller Meet’ ‘which was a virtual meeting between internationalbuyers and our women entrepreneurs. Around 200 members attend the meeting for exportpurpose where buyers from 12 different countries participated and this will lead to next level ofbusiness. I always stood up with those women who wanted to create her ownidentity. I encourages the participation of women in digital commerce. From that point of view,I planned to use, facebook group as an E- learning platform. From last year “WE” is arranging ayear-long online course named Entrepreneurship Masterclass series for the women entrepreneurs ofBangladesh, which a landmark event is happening for the first time in our country. The course isdesigned and customized for the women entrepreneurs of Bangladesh, contributing towards womenempowerment. It’s also aligned with UNSDG. People who are into business without much formaltraining, education or degrees, stand to learn a lot out of these sessions.“WE” isarranging workshops,seminars to develop their business skills, where more than 520k people became skilled from last one year.

e-Commerce is perhaps the only industry where the majority of entrepreneurs are female. However, this simple fact is not reflected anywhere and it is time that women get the recognition they deserve. This is a very challenging industry for women and they are struggling a lot. This social enterprise will talk about these challenges as well as highlight the success stories. e-Commerce can play a major role in spreading women entrepreneurship in all corners of Bangladesh.

Reverie Corporation started working on mobile applications and mobile games and under myguidance and leadership, created apps such as Unmad, Shohoz, Frappy Bird, Match Maker,Amader Shomoy, Canvas, How to wear a Saree etc. A desire to promote IT growth among theyouth of the country I have decided to hire fresh graduates for her company towards huge andproven success. I helped Reverie attain even more growth by driving the company towardsworking on government projects. My entrepreneurship started during my early life with thelegacy of my departed father. Later I have engraved my own everlasting footprint in IT industry as atechno entrepreneur and community leader. Currently I also work as an advisor, mentor andprofessional director, with a number of directorship focusing on the young company / innovationsector.
