I graduated from UNC Charlotte with a B.S. in Psychology and a minor in Africana Studies. I am currently working to obtain my Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at UNC Charlotte. In my previous roles I have served has a peer mentor for first year college students where I provided academic and social support for the duration of their first year at UNC Charlotte . In my current role as a Graduate Assistant in the Office of Academic Diversity and Inclusion at UNC Charlotte, I serve underrepresented students through advocacy and guidance. I am dedicated to helping others, providing guidance to those in need, and advocating for mental health treatment in order to help alleviate the negative stigma with seeking help in underrepresented communities.
