Hello, my name is Nas, and I am currently a student at Pierce College, completing my pre-med prerequisites. I am interested in exploring how the nervous system, specifically the cerebral tissue, responds to traumatic events, such as lesions, at the molecular level. Additionally, I want to explore the potentiality of gene therapy via recombinant DNA technology. My foundational studies in psychology and philosophy allow me to challenge my underlying presuppositions about the world and impugn contemporary dogma of the natural sciences. This faculty is necessary to remain unbound to the narrow constraints imposed on scientists.I am excited to work in the future with amazing teams to solve the world's most complex and unexplored questions.
