About Nasly Vanegas

I hold a BSc degree in Psychology and encompass over 12 years of experience working as a therapist/counsellor within varying populations, with people of diverse cultural backgrounds. During this experience I have developed and strengthened a passion to help clients in difficult situations, in high-risk environments, or in less-fortunate social situations. I am fluent in both English and Spanish, and I conduct therapy in both languages.I have notable experience working with newcomers to the country, women facing persecution and abuse from partners, abusive family systems, and adults who have experienced motor vehicle accidents. This has provided me with a certain sensibility and tolerance towards my practice as a professional.
