Hear My Voice is an NGO dedicated to empowering youth and persons with disabilities in education and employability. We envision a community where youth and persons with disabilities upskill, upscale and gain access to global opportunities. To make this a reality we have conducted different programs including a capacity-building program to equip youth with disabilities withemployability, entrepreneurship, innovation, human-centred design, and agribusiness skills. Furthermore, we have secured internship opportunities for PLWDs to promote a more inclusive workspace. So far, we have impacted more than 300 youth with disabilities from more than 8 universities in Tanzania through our capacity-building programs.Below are some of the competencies I portrayed in this role;-Skillfully managed administrative and organizational functions, overseeing daily operations, and engaged in data research for informed decision-making.-Led and Collaborated with peers to plan and successfully execute inclusive capacity-building programs that impacted more than 500 youth with disabilities in more than 8 universities in Dar es Salaam.-Provide regular reports to the board, donors, and other stakeholders on the organization's progress and impact.-Developed and communicated the organization's mission, vision, and strategic goals. Lead the development and implementation of strategies to achieve these objectives.-Worked closely with the board of directors to provide regular updates, seek their guidance, and ensure the organization operates in compliance with its bylaws and applicable laws and regulations.-Represent the organization to the public, donors, partners, and government agencies. Advocate for the organization's causes and build strategic partnerships-Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including beneficiaries, donors, government agencies, and community partner-Ensure that the organization complies with all relevant laws, regulations, and reporting requirements.
