 Review information received in the form of a capex workflow request Liaise with relevant parties should information on workflow not be adequate, until queries are resolved. Capture capital project details into SAP investment orders, for release by Fixed Asset Accountant. Review/ tracking of open investment orders to determine projects nearing capitalisation Ensure completed projects are capitalised timeously, by prompting project managers to analyse their projects and provide the necessary information. Forward capitalisation sheet to relevant managers/ engineers for authorisation Liaise with Operational Managers and Project Managers and provide advice on issues relevant to Group fixed asset acquisition or disposals Payment and recording of all capex related invoices Initiate and oversee the process and procedure involved in relation to the physical verification of the Group’s fixed assets. Communicate and follow up with Operations regarding the verification process. Process required amendments on SAP. Review “loose asset” GL accounts for the identification of assets to be capitalised, by referring to RPM and IFRS standards Liaise with operations to obtain necessary information and documentation to enable capitalisation of the assets Ensure team members accurately and regularly capture data onto SAP to enable access to reliable data and reporting for trend analysis and decision making. Share relevant data with management teams to enable reliable business decision making.

 Invoices and credit memo processing Oversee the matching of invoices/ credit memos with SAP receipts in the GR/IR account. Oversee the checking of invoices/ credit memos to ensure compliance with the VAT legislation. Verify supplier details on invoice match to Masterdata on SAP Oversee the capturing of invoices/ credit memo’s into the SAP system Ensure invoice queries are logged onto the Sharepoint system and perform follow up for resolution Investigate and resolve any differences between supplier statements, invoices and receipts and/or purchase orders Ensure supplier invoices and supplier statements are correctly collated. Prepare creditors reconciliations monthly before the payment runs and reconcile creditor statements to Accounts Payable trial balance and payment due. Perform monthly review of GRIR balances for suppliers Follow up on long outstanding balances for reversal General and ad-hoc administration Ensure team members accurately and regularly capture data onto SAP to enable access to reliable data and reporting for trend analysis and decision making.
