Working independently collaboratively in a small team of ten under attorney supervision, performed outreach and interviews for survivors of domestic violence, followed by triangulation of resources (legal and otherwise) for the purpose of meeting specific Client needs. During internship, attended weekly educational series focusing on Massachusetts-specific resources for survivors of violence and their families.

In a fast-paced, Client driven environment, I provided support in various areas of litigation, mediation, discovery, settlement, and disability retirement. I also maintained electronic case files, assisted with training for incoming support staff, and performed intake procedures for both federal and private employees facing discriminatory behavior in the workplace.

At one of nine resettlement Agencies in the US, I assisted individual as well as families of refugees, asylees, and SIV holders access critical community resources during their first 90 days in the country. I tracked progress towards self-sufficiency and provided cultural education, along with performing outreach to solicit additional community support.
