Duties included the setting up of an operating base/warehouse, procurement activity, well planning and eventually the follow up.The well spudded in November 1994 with the rig COMPACT DRILLER. The well is under drilling with very good progress.

(Temash , Baltim & North Port Said Concessions). Duties also include trouble shooting and intervention with well control, environment and safety problems.The project also covered, other than well designing, the service requirement, selection and evaluation, Service / Operator personnel qualification & training, Rig inspection & evaluation, emergency preparedness evaluation, Risk analysis.the project covered drilling and test more than 15 exploratory wells, eight wells successfully drilled and tested with very good performance. The first well was scudded in January 1992 with the rig KEY MANHATTAN. A second rig COMPACT DRILLER started in June 1994. Most of the wells were drilled within the budget and reached an average TD. Of 4500 m. with a recorded BHP around 12500 psi and BHT of 165 Deg C. some of these well was drilled directionally from pre-drilling template with a average angle of 35 to 45 deg.
