I grew up in Canada the oldest child of a building contractor who achieved his success during the Oil Boom of the 1980s. At eighteen my interest in the European fashion and music scene led me to work as a runway/print model represented by the famous John Casablancas’ Elite Model Management. Knowing my long-term plan was to be an entrepreneur like my father, I moved to Beverly Hills in the early 1990s and began working in fashion retail where I was mentored and rubbed shoulders with some of the city’s finest business people. In 2001, I co-founded a detective agency specializing in strategic consulting for major fashion brands. Today my firm, MI:33, is one of the best-known in the field of Intellectual Property protection online for brands across all industries. I currently hold the title Chief Financial Officer where I oversee the company’s infrastructure and planning. I love 80's music and fashion. My ideal evening is watching Netflix with my husband, Rob, and our three dogs.
