Life kind of take me to where I am now. I was OK in my school years, but when it was time for uni, I know I did not want to study engineering, science, economics or med school. I wanted to draw. I wanted to create. So I tried for a Visual Communication Design program in Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB) in Indonesia, but did not make it. I ended up in the Architecture instead, back in 2001.It was fun and I learnt a lot. But after I graduated in 2005, I was looking for a job. I was being realistic: how many of us really ended up on a job that is the exact path as we studied in uni? So I figure I would take any job, and if I did not like it, I could always change my course. It turned out that my first job offer was as a graphic designer. It was the exact thing that I want to study for my uni, so I had no hesitation in taking it. Before I know it, I am on my sixth year as a designer, doing bits and pieces on Adobe Design Premium software and handling various requests from our internal clients from various places in the world.But then I felt the need to learn. I should know more than this, do more than this. Came this opportunity to enroll in Master of Digital Design program in Griffith University, and so I did. During my Master, I've studied theories and practices about design and its objects, web design and video. I have shoot an interview and a short narratives as well as doing some photography for various assignments. I learnt how to make a 3D modelling for interior, using motion graphics for corporate identity and TV commercial purpose, design websites (HTML, CSS, AJAX, Javascript, SEO, etc) and have taken an interest in social media marketing.I have earned my degree and currently working at 7Langit, a premium mobile apps developer agency in Indonesia as a UI/UX Designer.I speak fluent Bahasa Indonesia and English, so you can talk to me in either languages. I always love reading novels and consider music as the food of my soul.
