About Natacha Fernández

Independent Consultant advising health provider organizations on data strategy, data management and data governance. For large health systems in New York State and their provider partners, I have led the successful implementation and adoption of solutions to support population health efforts, the design of workforce training efforts and underlying workflow transformation impacting thousands of employees. Built on 25 years of experience, I bring deep expertise in the development, negotiation, and implementation of cost-effective, population health-focused interoperability strategies and framework solutions that support the value-based payment objectives of clinically integrated networks, accountable care organizations, and independent practice associations, while ensuring applicable laws and regulations are incorporated into existing policy and procedures as it relates to data exchange. I have also worked as a director of informatics, innovation and interoperability with a record of accomplishments in the health IT environment both in the hospital, FQHC & primary care setting.
