• Investigate fraud, corruption, and other criminal activity at the New York City Housing Authority (NYCHA), including allegations of housing fraud, contractor fraud concerning billions of dollars of public contracting work, and crimes involving NYCHA employees.• Collect, analyze and preserve evidence and database searches.• Gather evidence and make informed decisions and conclusions by using reasoning and analysis that leads to prosecution. • Conduct interviews for witnesses and subjects.• Conduct joint investigations concerning illegal gang and narcotics activity in public housing.• Conduct operations in the field, such as neighbor cavass, foot or vehicle surveillance, search warrants and making arrests.• Write detailed reports, file and maintain all records while maintaining confidentiality. • Testify in court regarding case investigations and findings.

• Interpreter, translator, and transcriber from Spanish into English, using consecutive and simultaneous practices habitually during questioning of ongoing investigations and Title III assignments involving high rank officials; special agents, task force officers, among other governmental staff, in support of various facets of National Security.• Regularly served as a record keeper of sensitive and/or pertinent data/media divulged during investigations.• Provide the agency and operational stakeholders with intelligence data, incident and investigative reports that notify and strengthen their ability to make strategic, operational or tactical decisions on security operations like: counter terrorism; counter narcotics; counter human smuggling or trafficking; counter proliferation; cyber or financial crime interdiction; counterintelligence; or other emerging border security issues and threats.• Advise, administer, contribute and/or perform analysis, evaluation, interpretation and dissemination of data, information, intelligence, media and threats to national security.• Translation of Spanish-language documents for government officials into English ensuring exact syntax and lexis; certifying translations meets precise interpretation of dialects and colloquialisms.• Routinely assigned as liaison at the Title III sites staffed by additional linguists. Accountable for proofreadnig and editing transcripts and translations of poorly recorded audio and visual material (jail calls/videos, text messages, chat logs, social media/new media) completed by colleagues used by ATF, DEA and ICE.• In charge of researching, assembling, compiling and tabulating information and figures, as may be necessary to use in investigations, seizures and as evidence in various cases from different law enforcement sources.
