Graduate of LLM International Technology Law at VU Amsterdam of LLB International and European Law at Maastricht University.When completing my Bachelor's Degree, I took a minor in Technology Law. I quickly discovered my interest in the various topics surrounding the minor, including the ever-changing sector of law and technology. This was further explored when writing my Bachelor's Thesis on the interconnection between technological developments (the use of Big Data) and competition law. My interest in the intersections of privacy law with other areas of law continued during my studies at the VU. This resulted in my Master's Thesis on the interference of Data Protection Authorities and the EDPB in contract law, based on the EDPB Binding Decision on the use of Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR as a legal basis for processing personal data for marketing purposes by Meta.
