Pcb Design Hardware Engineer Supervisor
CurrentIPC CID certified PCB Design Engineer in charge to lead the Costa Rica PCB design operation. Responsible for the execution, training and guidance of a multidisciplinary group of engineers that provide support to multiple groups across organizations. As an individual also execute state of the art PCBs to different groups within Teradyne CR. Job Functions:• Design of state-of-the-art PCB physical design, while using high-end software programs (Cadence Allegro, PADS), in order to provide high-quality board layout that meets current design for manufacturing rules for fabrication, assembly, and test. • Technical point of contact for the Costa Rica PCB team, executed and coordinated multiple engineering projects, where managing uncertainty was key. Coordinated stakeholders in order to deliver high-quality designs. • Actively participated in the hiring process to select and build the team, provided training, guidance, and constant support to keep morale during the pandemic time and ensure a respectful and balanced workplace. • Provide technical and professional support to the team, identify proactively any technical gaps, organized training, pointed to experts, and seek opportunities for the team to grow.
