Article 26 Backpack is a human rights organization that works to promote academic mobility for all by providing refugees and at-risk youth with safe ways to store and share their information on a digital database. Article 26 Backpack builds pathways of connection and inclusion for all, and empowers young people to plan and structure their higher education, training, and career pathways.

Research Assistant with the Research Addressing Violence in Education Lab led by Dr. Dorothy Espelage. Conducting research related to a 20-year renewal of a study on how structural racism impacts the life chances of 7,000 participants in North Carolina, and communicating with professors at UNC-Chapel Hill and UC Davis to complete this research. Working 10 hours per week researching databases, tracking information about participants, and contacting them to schedule interviews
