Experience across Cardiac Surgery, Oncology and Interventional Radiology. Skill adaptation to different specialties, proficiency with wide range of medical devices; mentored student nurses, orientated new nurses. Managed patient flow, advised nurses on clinical procedures, strengthened time management and team-working skills across multidisciplinary teams.From March 2019 to March 2020, transitioned to working part-time in the Emergency Department to travel and complete a course in Tropical Nursing, prior to returning full-time to Interventional Radiology during the first wave of the pandemic.

Integrated large ICU at double capacity during second wave of pandemic, including rotations in neurology, cardiology, respiratory, covid; developed accuracy in highly stressful conditions.

Recruited by growing start-up providing health interventions to employees of large firms. Matured as independent practitioner, strengthened communication skills applicable beyond hospital environment. Led influenza vaccination clinics of up to 70 clients, independent of support team. Gained experience working in multiple locations, within a high- energy, improvisational start-up environment.

Student placements gaining experience across different specialties including Surgical Assessment Unit, Theatres, Acute Stroke Unit, Cardiac Cath Lab, Acute Cardiac Unit, Intensive Care Unit and the Emergency Department.

Hands-on experience through Emergency and ICU units in one of the largest hospitals in Cuba; perfected non-verbal communication skills and medical Spanish, responsible for running nurse-led clinic of 45 patients in unfamiliar setting.
