The primary purpose of my role was to provide psychometric testing and assessment services to assist in the selection and development of both external candidates and RailCorp staff. During this time, I also managed the project for the creation of a Policies and Procedures Manual that related to Assessment Centre training and test administration. Duties included:• Administration and scoring of contemporary psychometric tests and questionnaires in both individual and bulk campaign settings (up to 120 candidates per session, two sessions per day)• Responsibility for a portfolio of campaigns, including the design and updating of Assessment Centre activities and other relevant materials• Delivery of Assessment Centres, including being the Lead Assessor on Assessment Centre panels.• Evaluating Assessment Centre activities, such as live role-play interactions and In-Tray exercises, group exercise simulations, verbal presentations, and written reports against pre-determined behavioural competencies in order to determine participant strengths and development areas• Facilitated workshops for Aboriginal students on job interview and Assessment Centre skills• Participation in the integration of data and liaising with other Assessment Centre consultants to ensure consistency and calibrate scores• Provision of feedback for candidates (successful and unsuccessful) on their testing or Assessment Centre performance
