I am an Oregon Board Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. My approach to therapy is to be curious and collaborative in the pursuit to strengthen bonds between families, couples, and all other relationships. I work in a variety of settings: medical clinics, outpatient, EAP at Optum, public schools, camps, mental health "teams" in order to best serve my client. I think and work systemically as well as use Narrative therapy practices to inform my work with people. I'm passionate about assisting others in their knowledge around mind/body wellness. Through a relational lens, I foster hope and healing through the use of mindfulness based movement, yoga and breath. I have collaborated with many foundations and nonprofits that service family members with a chronic illnesses. In addition to my role as a therapist, I teach graduate level courses at George Fox University and Saint Mary's University. As a volunteer with CCFA, I spent one week every summer at CCFA's Camp Oasis ( a summer camp for children with IBD). Teaching prenatal yoga, yoga for cancer survivors, yoga to children and other special populations is my passion.
