I aim to be an outstanding role model to my students and develop strong relationships with them; while maintaining the expected level of respect and behaviour for learning that is required in my classroom and of the School’s behaviour policy. I believe that it is extremely important that all students behave appropriately and respect each other inside and outside school. It is imperative that students feel safe and equal to those around them in my classroom. I have a zero tolerance policy on any form of bullying or harassment; especially surrounding race, religion, ethnicity, sexual orientation or identification, etc. My experience of SEND students ranges from those who are diagnosed with ADHD, Autism, Dyslexia, Anxiety and those who are Hearing Impaired or have English as an additional language (EAL). I strive to ensure that these students feel supported in my classroom and that they are provided with the best teaching to help them thrive.
