I am deeply passionate about working with young children and I believe that it is essential to foster young children's learning and development in the early years. I hope to further my studies in the area of music therapy and child psychology in the future.I am currently conducting an early years dissertation on 'how pre-school supports children's social development'. I believe that is critical to support children's learning and development in the early years so that they learn the skills, capabilities and attitudes to grow into socially competent and active agents in society. I believe that early learning and development is learned through high quality practice and services which provide high standards of stimulating activities, interactions and experiences. It is critical for children to obtain these skills in the early years for a positive school transition and later life success.
