During the summer I took on a paid Student Research Assistant role looking at Carbon Reduction efforts by The Borough of Poole. I am currently in the process of finishing the paper. This involved communicating with external stakeholders, through interviews, email and telephone, collecting and analysing data, then presenting the data to line managers and The Borough of Poole.

For a 10 week programme I mentor students from high school to college from disadvantaged backgrounds. I help to get back up to date with areas they are behind or have missed and teach them about opportunities/subjects that will arise in the future. (Jobs, apprenticeships, uni, finance, gap years, C.V writing etc)Additionally, as a mentor I work for the Bournemouth University Summer Breaks Programme where yrs 10, 11, and 12 come and experience Uni life for 3 nights and 4 days.

Assisting the GWCT in monitoring the rotary screw trap for salmon smolts and sea trout for the EU SAMARCH Project.

Main roles include: Life guarding, first aid, sports equipment set up, assisting events and occasionally cleaning.

During this role I taught skiing and snowboarding to groups, schools, individuals of all ages and private lessons. I also assisted in race/ski cross events working and setting up the timing gates.

Whilst working at AerData I handled all aircraft data and prepared it to be scanned and processed online.

As well as teaching skiing and snowboarding to a variety of ages and abilities, I organised instructors with appropriate lessons for their teaching ability. Organised schedule's, breaks, took bookings everyday for not only lessons but school ski days with lunches and lessons included. Other responsibilities included CADS skiing (Canadian Association for Disabled Skiers), assisting in rentals and in the tech shop.

Whilst working at The Hillside Inn I took and processed drinks and food orders, handled all cash/card payments from my tables, was responsible for staff incentives, taking bookings and front of house.

I taught skiing and snowboarding to a variety of ages and abilities in private and group lessons such as schools. I also assisted in the set up/take down for races/competitions and events.

I started at Screwfix part-time whilst at College, then went to full time and progressed to store supervisor. I then went on to open and supervisor the trade + store in Horsham. Responsibilities included: preparing orders, processing orders, handling cash/card/account payments, organising staff rotas/breaks and holidays, stock counts and setting up accounts.
