First Responder:Key experience includes:Feb-Mar 2022, FAC Coordinator: Tasks include setting up and managing two evacuation centres for Ukrainian evacuees in Poland. Mar 2020, Evacuation Centre Coordinator: Tasks include setting up and coordinating a holding hotel during COVID-19 pandemic with the aim of evacuating expats to their homes before air space was closed. Time management and organisation were key to this deployment. Crisis Management Centre:CMC Activation, management, coordination and support duties to over 10 major international incidents and 30+ of varying scales from aviation disasters, COVID-19 pandemic, counter-terrorism and mental health support for traumatic events, amongst others. During peacetime I maintained/updated Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in relation to the CMC activities, always striving to develop and improve its effectiveness for the next response. Consultancy:Coordinated, developed and trained Consultancy courses in disaster response and management for clients and team members globally.Warehouse:Peacetime duties Involved generally maintaining and resupplying a vast catalogue of emergency equipment. Incident duties included logistical coordination with partners to deploy equipment anywhere in the world.

International crisis responder for Go Crisis to help provide humanitarian assistance and recovery services. 2023 - Deployed as a responder for a mass fatality recovery operation in the UK.

Working on the Poland/Ukraine border and refugee centre in Dorohusk, providing immediate relief for refugees and organisations working in Ukraine. Worked on Ukraine-Warsaw train providing immediate relief to refugee passengers (Partnered with PAH Polska Akcja Humanitarna Organisation) Organised donations sent to Caritas HQ in Lublin Coordinated medical supplies to hospitals in Kyiv, Ukraine while with Caritas, but as a private job.

The right hand (wo)man to the president of Queen Mary Geography Society where we share responsibility of running and maintaining a successful academic society for the social and academic benefit of our peers. My role included leading a small team who helped organise social and academic events, sell merchandise and acted as an ambassador for our department. The role naturally enabled me to establish new and good connections with professionals and peers involved with geography department, the wider university and beyond.

My time at Stansted consisted of an office environment where I was predominantly analysing environmental data or learning the basics of my colleagues' job roles and working out in the field. On a daily basis I would learn new skills and develop airport knowledge working both airside and landside. I partook in water sampling, a day with the fire service, a day with air operations team, predominantly learning about the meteorological aspects the airport must consider on a daily basis. I also engaged with the waste management team and learnt about the airport's mechanical engineering and ecological effort.
