Profile bio

About Natalie Fund

My most recent work experience was a fellowship in event planning for the National Trails Office in partnership with the American Solar Challenge. This was a collegiate solar car race that competed on 1800 miles of the Oregon National Historic Trail. My role supported the pre-event logistics, a traveling exhibit at each race stop, and post event evaluation and reflection.Over the course of 5 years I worked my way up from Museum Assistant to Curator of the Wells Fargo Museum in Portland. I gained experience not only in museum work but in marketing, event coordination, community partnerships, and sharing our stories with the community. I improved my problem solving and communication skills working with international Au Pairs as a Local Counselor at USAuPair. I planned monthly cultural exchange events for the au pairs to help with their adjustment to the US and provide a fun and informative experience. I provided mediation and guidance, looking out for the interests of the families, the au pairs, and the agency. While studying Anthropology and French at Oregon State University, I spent a year abroad and gained a love for cultural exchange and travel.
