As a Journalism and English student-athlete at Northwestern University, I balance my academic pursuits alongside participation in elite-level athletics. I look to bring my skills of teamwork, collaboration, organization, and hard work learned on the field into my professional career. With my previous experience in journalistic writing and content production, I have honed my skills in researching, interviewing, writing, editing, and balancing multiple projects for various types of stories--from local events and profiles to breaking news and features. I have also learned how to collaborate and communicate effectively with diverse sources, colleagues, and editors. I look to further develop and expand my skills in any role in the sports media industry and bring innovative, creative ideas to the table. As a member of the women's lacrosse team, I am a 2023 National Champion, earned All-Academic Big Ten distinction for the past two years. I also made the Medill Dean's List every quarter since 2020, demonstrating my dedication and pursuit of excellence both on and off the field.
