Technical Service, Resite Engineering Temp
Current- Review many material and customer specifications in order to accurately and swiftly write analytical and mechanical test requests for materials being qualified for equivalency at the Anaheim, CA manufacturing plant, as well as other plants across the world- Prepare resin and adhesive samples and test when the department is experiencing a high flow of qualification projects- Compile and analyze data for multiple projects at a time in order to shorten the qualification process for the lead engineers- Work closely with Resite Chemist to brainstorm solutions for failing chemical test results while staying within the Resite budget - Prepare final reports and presentations for Cytec’s most profitable customers such as Boeing and Northrop Grumman- Participate in customer and internal audits by preparing specimens for inspection and internal presentations - Maintain traceability of specimens in short term and long term storage for the Technical Services Department in order to ensure that specimens and retains can be found easily by myself as well as all other engineers- Collaborate with Resite Technician and Chemist to keep chemical inventory up-to-date and accurate so that all qualification projects can run smoothly without running out of necessary chemicals and resins
