Collaborating with mentees, caregivers and families to support whole family academic engagement, including supporting the HS articulation process and training of mentors to support academic engagement of mentees. Collaborating with school partners to support whole family academic engagement, including attending school-based meetings and acting as a liaison between The Arthur Project and partner schools. Developing, implementing and facilitating in-school and community-based Saturday programming. Facilitating Youth Leadership Institute programming in Spring/Summer. Collaborating with school and CBO partners in developing and implementing workshops, trainings, events, and gatherings for parents, guardians and whole families. Supporting administrative functions of the organization.

I hone in on the social work skills taught to me and apply it to my work with middle school students. I have a caseload of 6 students whom I meet with once a week, every week and we work on the pressing issues that is going on in their lives. We also work on building and developing their personal and professional relationships.
