Recognizing that no two projects are the same, Rebuck strives to create unique designs tailored to client objectives, budgets, and the aesthetic of the space.Prior to founding Re: Design Architects, Rebuck spent 8 years working as the Project Architect for the award winning firm, Kliment Halsband Architects. Notable projects of Rebuck’s include the Fashion Incubator for The Council of Fashion Designers of America, the Old Observatory at Vassar College, the Washington Mews at New York University, Avalon Morningside Park in New York City, as well as other institutional mandates from Yale and Johns Hopkins Universities. She has completed projects for distinguished clients such as GFP Real Estate, Newmark, and a world-renowned DJ.Rebuck’s design style embraces maximalist, modern, and antique elements; all geared to optimizing and showcasing the space in which she is working. About her aesthetic, Rebuck says, “I love to be playful with color, textures, and patterns. To compliment her design choices, Rebuck often chooses to decorate spaces with both antique and contemporary pieces, resulting in rooms that feel modern yet timeless. She seeks inspiration through travel, vintage fashion and design, connection with others, and art. Her work is curated, thoughtful, and spirited; no detail is ever too small. HiRe Design is the creative collaboration of architects, Carolyn Hinger and Natalie Rebuck. Armed with nearly 20 years of combined experience their work is enjoyed in such prestigious educational institutions as Yale, Johns Hopkins, and New York University as well as in the state of the art CFDA Fashion Incubator. Carolyn and Natalie, Registered Architects, AIA, and LEED AP have worked on some of the most high profile projects in the Northeast such as Vassar College and with a number of high-end luxury developers such as AvalonBay Communities. The design duo are known in the industry as being very approachable and collaborative when working with clients to craft high quality structures from design to completion. HiRe Design Architects is a certified Women’s Business Enterprise (WBE).

* Oversaw complex institutional and residential projects, including work for Yale and Johns Hopkins Universities. * Developed expertise in historic preservation and adaptive reuse. I participated in the design and management of numerous projects at Kliment Halsband Architects. I was the Project Architect/Manager for the renovation of the Doty Building at SUNY College at Geneseo and for the renovation and adaptive reuse of four historic carriage houses on the Washington Mews at New York University. I was the Project Architect for the renovation of the Old Observatory at Vassar College, CFDA Fashion Incubator, 27 Union Square, and the Social Sciences Planning Study at Yale University.
