The Cloninger group explores the effect of dendrimers of varying size and functionalization on aggregation and stability. Lactose functionalized dendrimers and small molecule antibacterial agents were synthesized under the supervision of Dr. Garrett Moraski.

General chemistry laboratory instructor responsible for the safety, proficiency, and instruction of twenty general chemistry students. Responsibilities of this position included: preparation of chemicals and standards, adherence to university safety protocols, assessment of skill and comprehension, and individual and group instruction. Instruction was provided on the subjects of atomic structure and bonding, molecular properties, reactivity, and kinetics at the first-year level.

Laboratory research assistant [Physical Chemistry Division, Montana State University]. The Kohler group uses ultrafast transient absorption to study the excited (singlet state) lifetimes of DNA and RNA in the UV range. The goal of this research is to better understand the relationship between nucleotide excitation and skin cancer.
