My passion for public health stems from my personal background and education. Growing up in one of Washington State's lowest income earning counties, I witnessed firsthand the lack of adequate resources for health and well-being. I earned my bachelor's degree in public health from Central Washington University, with a minor in family science. My professional journey includes serving as a tech manager via AmeriCorps, where I supported the delivery of health education and outreach programs in rural areas, and working as an insurance agent, where I gained valuable insights into the challenges people face in accessing and affording coverage. My goal is to help communities thrive and achieve their public health goals, by becoming the support that I and my family needed.
